Oil Reservoirs WITH INTEGRATED FILTER

Low Pressure | MAXIMUM WORKING PRESSURE: 450 PSIG

The “FL” and “FS” series oil reservoirs feature an integrated serviceable oil filter. Typical system designs have an oil filter or strainer between the oil separator and reservoir. This hybrid approach provides the same performance while resulting in fewer leak joints, a more compact layout, and improved system integrity.

Features

  • Available in 2, 3, and 4 gallon oil capacities
  • Serviceable filter element
  • Tapped and slotted flange for ease of assembly and removal
  • Filter inlet available with Rotolock or sweat connection
  • Steel construction with powder paint finish

Filter Specifications

  • Filter kit model 90-0-7K
  • 99.5% efficient at removing 4-micron particles and larger
  • 330 square inches of filtering surface
  • Suitable for halocarbon refrigerants and all oil types

How To Choose

Selection of the oil reservoir is a matter of individual preference.

  • Up to 4 compressors: 2 gallon reservoir
  • 4 to 6 compressors: 3 gallon reservoir
  • 6+ compressors: 4 gallon reservoir

These are general guidelines and should be verified by the system’s manufacturer or engineer. For systems with extremely long line runs, it is always best to use the 4 gallon model.

Oil Reservoirs

Low Pressure | MAXIMUM WORKING PRESSURE: 450 PSIG

Features

Oil reservoirs are designed to hold excess oil from varying system loads and frost cycles in parallel compressor systems. For proper oil pressure, install the oil reservoir between the oil separator and oil regulators with a vent valve on the 3/8″ flare connection.

  • Two 3/8″ flare swivel valves
  • Sight glasses for easy viewing
  • Welded and brazed design for higher strength
  • Nitrogen tested for cleanliness
  • Powder paint finish

Vent Valves

MAXIMUM WORKING PRESSURE: 700 PSI

Features

The oil vent valve is used to maintain a positive pressure differential between the oil reservoir and the compressor. This ensures that there is an adequate supply of oil to the oil regulators.

The inlet of the valve should be connected directly to the 3/8″ SAE flare connection on top of the oil reservoir and the outlet should be piped to suction.
